Delicious…and only 25,000 calories per slice!

I never eat lunch, so I feel I can justify this mammoth calorie-loaded breakfast once in a while: SAUSAGE, MUSHROOM AND CHEESE MELT ON SOUT DOUGH TOAST

All you need:

1 slice of sour dough bread, slightly toasted
2 sausages, cooked and chopped into chunks
1 portobello mushroom, sliced and cooked
3 slices Extra Strong Cheddar (I used Cornish Cruncher)
A smear of French mustard

Method: Spread the mustard on the toast, then loaded the sausages, mushrooms and cheese on top before melting under the grill.

Now I’m going for a lie down.

  6. I think I’ll have a lie down after that one too Keith. Can feel my arteries hardening as I type. (PS I see a new MC is starting. Can’t wait to see it over here. Love my MC. Masterchef that is.)

  7. That’s a gorgeous photo! I’m pretending it’s a veggie sausage and am ignoring the mushrooms, but it looks gorgeous!

  8. Sod the lie down, I’d book myself in for some angioplasty after that one…
