‘Well, I never thought he’d get to 50…’ and 4 other things I hope people say at my funeral

Earlier this year I  got to write the eulogy for my dear Mum’s funeral. It made me wonder what people would say about me when I’m gone, and four words seemed to sum it up: ‘Thank God for that!’

Then yesterday,  Kate at KateTakes5 Listography came up with the fun challenge of asking us what we’d like people to say at the parting event….

No.2: ‘You sure he’s dead? Want me to double-check? Can’t take any chances with these modern medicine techniques.’

No. 3: ‘Did he really make a living out of blogging? Wonders will never cease.’

No.4: ‘Such lovely children. And all millionaires, too. Shame he didn’t get more time on Earth to spend any of it.’

No.5: ‘Who’s the other mourner?’

A bit on the bleak side but, hey, it’s Monday morning and the kids are STILL on holiday.
